About MindedGames

MindedGames is a free website of logic puzzles and quick brain tests: nonograms, sudoku, killer sudoku, akari, hashi, the queens game and more. You can play everything in your browser, on a phone or a computer, without an account.

What we believe

• Puzzles should be fair. Every logic puzzle has one solution you can reach by reasoning. No forced guesses.
• You should never run out. Puzzles are generated fresh, in many sizes, so there is always a new one waiting.
• Rules should be easy to learn. Each game has its own page with the rules, a short example and practical solving tips.
• Your time matters. Pages load fast and the puzzle comes first.

How the site is funded

MindedGames is free because it shows advertising. Ads never cover the puzzle board and never interrupt a puzzle in progress.

How the puzzles are built

Many of our puzzles run on the excellent open-source Portable Puzzle Collection by Simon Tatham, released under the MIT license. Other games, like the queens game and the brain tests, are built by us. See credits and licenses for details.
