FreeCell is the solitaire where skill wins. All cards are dealt face up, so nothing is hidden: with four free cells to park cards and a little planning, almost every deal can be solved.
Tap a card to send it to the best spot, drag stacks between columns, and use undo freely while you find the winning line.
How to play FreeCell
- All 52 cards are dealt face up into eight columns.
- Build the four foundations by suit, from Ace up to King.
- In the columns, stack cards downward in alternating colors.
- The four free cells each hold one card. Use them to park cards while you dig.
- You can move several cards at once when there are enough free cells and empty columns to do it one by one.

Free the Aces early
Aces and low cards buried deep in a column block everything. Plan to dig them out first.
Keep free cells free
Every card you leave in a free cell makes your moves smaller. Use them briefly, then clear them.
An empty column beats a free cell
An empty column can hold a whole stack and doubles how many cards you can move at once. Aim for one.
