How to play Jigsaw Sudoku
- Fill every empty cell with a digit from 1 to 9.
- Every row and every column contains each digit exactly once.
- The grid is divided into nine jigsaw shapes of nine cells. Each shape also contains each digit once.
- Choose Basic or Advanced in the Size & level menu.

Use the law of leftovers
Add up whole rows and compare them with the shapes inside them. Cells of a shape that stick out of the rows must match the cells of other shapes that stick in.
Watch the odd-shaped pieces
Long, thin shapes cross many rows and columns, so they get restricted quickly. They often give the first placements.
Classic techniques still work
Singles, pairs and pointing pairs work exactly as in normal sudoku. Only the shape of the boxes has changed.
